Pardon my ignorance, but I was astonished about all the painting techniques used to create art prints.

I discovered the existence of a lot of painting techniques:

• oil
• watercolor
• acrylic
• graphite
• ink
• patchwork
• pencil
• tempera

and they are just a few of the most famous painting techniques!



I was trying to understand these painting techniques, but I am not an expert art critic and I can only look at the art prints I found on some art web sites.

In the future, maybe, I can take some information about some painting techniques and I will explain you how this art prints and paintings are created (only if I can find some web sites that help me to understand the subject...).
